Overview
The 6-day Marangu Route is the most established and comfortable route to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” it is the only trail offering mountain hut accommodation, making it ideal for climbers who prefer sleeping in huts rather than tents. This route follows a gradual ascent through rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and arctic summit zones, with a well-paced itinerary designed to improve acclimatization and summit success.
