Itinerary In Details
Day 1
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. After settling in, you will receive a detailed safari briefing covering the itinerary, wildlife spotting tips, and safety guidelines. Later, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy your first afternoon game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Dinner will be served at your lodge, and you will spend the night in a comfortable lodge or luxury tented camp near Tarangire, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush.
Day 2
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, and flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore. Spend the morning on a game drive exploring the park’s stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, you will visit a local Maasai village, engaging with the community, learning about traditional customs, crafts, and daily life. Return to your lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay in a comfortable lodge or tented camp. Meals for the day include breakfast, picnic lunch during the game drive, and dinner at the lodge.
Day 3
Today, you journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to endless plains and Africa’s most iconic wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos—alongside cheetahs, wildebeest, and zebras. The golden sunset over the Serengeti provides breathtaking photography opportunities. You will spend the night at a luxury tented camp or lodge in the Serengeti. Meals include breakfast at your previous lodge, picnic lunch in the Serengeti, and dinner at your lodge or camp.
Day 4
On the final day, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a morning game drive among dramatic volcanic landscapes. Here, you may encounter rhinos, lions, elephants, and buffalo in one of Africa’s most stunning natural amphitheaters. After a picnic lunch at the crater floor, you will drive back to Arusha for your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Breakfast will be provided at your lodge, with lunch in the crater, ensuring you enjoy meals while experiencing Tanzania’s incredible wildlife.
