Itinerary In Details

Day 1: Arusha – Machame Gate – Machame Camp (3,010m)

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha in the morning and meet your safari guide for a transfer to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Spend the afternoon on your first game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and birds. Check in at a lodge or luxury tented camp near Tarangire, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay.

Meals include lunch en route, dinner at the lodge, and accommodation.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife adventure, spotting rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and more against the stunning crater backdrop. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the crater, then check in at a lodge on the crater rim or nearby for dinner and overnight stay.
